Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking a client-focused GIS professional to join our Orlando team.

You will apply ESRI GIS software to manage, analyze, and visualize data, publish web maps and dashboards, and support municipal projects with spatial analysis and data-driven insights. The ideal candidate holds a GIS-related degree with two years of relevant experience and is proficient in ArcGIS Pro and companion tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in geography, GIS, planning, history or related field with two years of progressive relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

Utilizing ESRI GIS software to manage, analyze, and visualize data.
Publishing, configuring, and maintaining web maps, hosted feature layers, dashboards, and GIS applications in ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise.
Conducting spatial analysis and applying geoprocessing techniques to support municipal projects.
Creating high-quality maps and interactive web applications for presentations and reports.
Collaborating with team members to design and maintain geospatial databases, ensuring data integrity and efficient data retrieval.
Assisting in the development and implementation of geospatial workflows and standards.
Staying up to date on the latest GIS technologies, tools, and methodologies.
Communicating GIS findings and analysis to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports and presentations.
Providing GIS technical assistance and basic training to project teams and end users.
