Job summary

OHM Advisors is seeking a GIS Specialist to support projects across engineering, planning, architecture, and water resources. You will work with a collaborative GIS team on field data collection, database development, and mapping to advance communities and infrastructure.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in GIS related field, strong ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online skills, and experience building ArcGIS Experience Builder apps and StoryMaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Planning or related field, with a focus on GIS preferred.
• Strong experience with Esri ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
• Proven work building and launching ArcGIS Experience Builder apps and ArcGISStoryMaps.
• Strong understanding of urban planning principles, zoning, and community development.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and maintaining GIS databases for utility management and other infrastructure projects using ArcGIS Pro.
• Assist in the design and development of GIS database schemas.
• Design and launch public facing Esri ArcGIS Experience Builder apps and ArcGISStoryMaps.
• Utilize ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online to support a variety of project needs.
• Participate in project meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Represent the firm professionally when interacting with internal teams, clients, and the public.
