Job summary

Clallam PUD is seeking a GIS Engineer Tech to maintain and evolve the district's GIS and related software. You will design GIS layers, integrate with SCADA and NISC systems and ensure data supports engineering decisions.

The role requires a GIS-focused degree or equivalent certification, plus experience with AutoCAD and ESRI GIS tools. Knowledge of utility mapping and data analysis is essential for district-wide projects.

Qualifications

Requires 3 years of experience as an Engineering Tech II or a Bachelor's degree in GIS related field.
ArcGIS Desktop Professional certification or equivalent is required.
Experience with surveying and mapping of utility systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and integration of applications and systems supporting the engineering department.
Design, create, update and maintain GIS layers for engineering.
Interface with other systems (Survalent SCADA, NISC modules) and IT for data exchange.
Gathers and analyzes spatial data from multiple sources and updates databases.
Assist in engineering projects and ensure accurate information for district goals.
