Vantor is seeking a GIS DevOps Engineer to power the spatial intelligence that drives critical decisions. You'll design and deliver robust, scalable services for ingesting, storing, and querying geospatial data at scale.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with active TS/SCI with CI poly (or willingness to obtain a CI poly).
• Minimum 4 years of total professional experience in a technical support role.
• Experience with DevSecOps and Kubernetes in production.
• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
• Proficiency with container technologies such as Docker or CRI-O.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Ability to work with geographically distributed teams.
• Willingness to work in a SCIF environment with on-call/on-hours onsite support in Herndon, VA or St. Louis, MO.
• Degree or equivalent demonstrated experience in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters across cloud and/or on-prem environments
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support containerized application delivery
• Implement infrastructure as code
• Monitor platform performance, availability, and security; respond to incidents and optimize systems
• Develop and maintain platform tooling, automation, and self-service capabilities
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve platform usability and reliability
• Ensure compliance with organizational security and governance standards
• Communicate with multidisciplinary SAFe Agile teams and articulate technical concepts and ideas effectively.
