Job summary

Vantor Inc. is seeking a GIS DevOps Engineer to build the engine behind the map. You will design and operate robust, scalable services for geospatial data, deploying Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters, and implementing CI/CD pipelines.

You will work with DevSecOps practices, container technologies, and collaborate with distributed teams in a SCIF environment, with on-site work in St. Louis, MO or Herndon, VA. U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI with CI poly required.

Qualifications

Design, deploy and manage Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters in cloud/on-prem environments.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
Strong DevSecOps and security-focused mindset; ability to work across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters across cloud and/or on-prem environments.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support containerized application delivery.
Implement infrastructure as code.
Monitor platform performance, availability, and security; respond to incidents and optimize systems.
Develop and maintain platform tooling, automation, and self-service capabilities.
Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve platform usability and reliability.
Ensure compliance with organizational security and governance standards.
Communicate with multidisciplinary SAFe Agile teams and articulate technical concepts and ideas effectively.
