Job summary

Vantor is seeking a GIS DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and scale geospatial data services. You’ll build robust pipelines, manage Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters, and implement infrastructure as code while ensuring security and governance across cloud and on-prem environments.

The role requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with CI poly (or willingness to obtain). You will work with distributed teams and support mission-critical platforms in SCIF settings in either Herndon, VA or St.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI with CI poly (or willingness to obtain a CI poly).
• Minimum of 4 years of total professional experience in a technical support role.
• Demonstrated technical experience with DevSecOps and Kubernetes in production.
• OpenShift experience required (Red Hat/OpenShift).
• Proficiency with container technologies (Docker/CRI-O).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Experience with open source and custom deployments; able to work with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters across cloud and/or on-prem environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized delivery.
• Implement infrastructure as code and monitor platform performance and security.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations to improve usability and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to SAFe Agile teams.
