Job summary

Vantor is hiring a solution-driven Software Engineer to work onsite with U.S. Government customers to create technology solutions for data collection, data analytics, data visualization, and user workflow automation.

You will work on mission-focused projects with large data sets, utilizing cloud-based processing technologies and emerging data science techniques to deliver actionable insights and robust software solutions.

Qualifications

U.S. Government TS/SCI clearance (CI Poly) required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
Proficiency in at least one language (Java, Python, Go, Rust, etc.).
Experience with data extraction, manipulation, visualization, and analysis of large datasets.
Experience designing and supporting cloud architectures (AWS and C2S).
Experience with NoSQL stores such as Elasticsearch or MongoDB.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud or hybrid environments.
Proficiency with Linux environments.
Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to work independently and in teams; fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable mission-critical software solutions.
Participate in full software lifecycle from planning to maintenance.
Apply standards to produce high-quality, maintainable software.
Work with cloud stacks to extract, transform, visualize geospatial data.
Develop analytics/derivative data products.
Troubleshoot and solve problems proactively.
Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and DoD customers to understand requirements.
Contribute with diverse teams of engineers, clients, and users.
Work onsite full time.
