The Mohegan Tribe of Indians Of Connecticut is seeking a GIS Developer to design, implement, and maintain GIS applications, databases, and web mapping solutions that support Tribal programs. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of GIS development experience, strong ESRI product knowledge, and proficiency with Git and SQL

Summary of Position:
The GIS Developer designs, implements, and maintains Geographic Information System (GIS) applications, databases, web mapping solutions, and spatial analysis tools that support the Tribal Government's programs and services. This position works collaboratively with Tribal departments including Planning, Natural Resources, Environmental Protection, Cultural Preservation, Public Safety, Housing, Utilities, Transportation, Emergency Management, and Tribal Administration. The GIS Developer maintains custom GIS applications, automates workflows, manages enterprise geospatial databases, and ensures the security and integrity of spatial data while supporting Tribal sovereignty, data governance, and informed decision-making.
