Eversource Energy is seeking an intermediate-level GIS Technician to maintain the land base and distribution facilities within the company’s Geographic Database. You will interpret as-built plans, ensure data integrity, and collaborate across departments to resolve field-to-map discrepancies.

The role emphasizes QA/QC, data modeling in GIS/CAD, and field audits using ArcFM, CAD, and Mobile GIS, with travel between MA/CT/NH as needed.

• Experience with GIS/CAD data models and attribute management.
• Ability to perform QA/QC on GIS data and support data integrity.

Mansioni

• Updates land base and distribution facilities in the Geographic Database and ensures data integrity.
• Interprets field constructs and plans into standard company symbology using ArcFM, CAD, and Mobile GIS.
• Coordinates with departments to resolve field-map discrepancies.
• Validates topology and connectivity of GIS data for tracing functionality.
• Analyzes spatial data including ortho imagery for accuracy.
• Performs field audits and Mobile GIS data collection to verify configurations.
• Conducts software testing and training for GIS applications as needed.
• Provides technical guidance to less experienced technicians.
