Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a GIS Technician to manage and post electric transmission and distribution records in GIS. You will work with field data, coordinate with teams, and ensure accuracy across multiple systems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in GIS or related certification and at least two years in GIS/AutoCAD, plus a valid MA driver's license and the TECH Test. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in GIS or equivalent certification from a technical school or college.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in GIS/AutoCAD or equivalent.
• Massachusetts Driver’s License and approval to operate company vehicles.
• Applicants must pass the TECH Test.

Responsibilities

• Post changes to electric transmission, substation, distribution, and land-base asset records in GIS.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely posting of records in GIS across systems.
• Utilize Maximo, iTOA, OMNI, GIS, Excel to manage workflow.
