Join to apply for the GIS and Website Developer role at Talent Groups.

Position Description:

Provide GIS and website development technical support to the agency in its projects funded under MS Code § 41-123-1 (2023). Goals include assessing the current physician workforce in Mississippi and its future needs.

Duration: 12 months to start.

Projects include:

1. Designing dynamic, interactive GIS maps to visualize physician workforce shortages and underserved areas.
2. Developing a user-centric, mobile-responsive website focusing on accessibility.
3. Embedding interactive geospatial dashboards for real-time data visualization.
4. Implementing tools for custom regional, specialty, and workforce indicator reports.
5. Supporting data collection, organization, and analysis across multiple subject matters.
6. Maintaining and enhancing datasets in compliance with statutory mandates.
7. Ensuring data integrity and accuracy for public and official reporting.
8. Supporting project timelines and migration tasks for websites and GIS services.
9. Upgrading existing applications and converting licensure data as directed.

Required Skills/Experience:

• ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise (7+ years)
• Website development and data visualization skills
• Familiarity with MS government and/or physician workforce data

Preferred/Not Required:

• Experience with governmental data modernization or project management
