Job summary

City of Fort Collins is seeking a skilled GIS Analyst II to join the Utilities GIS team in Fort Collins, CO. The role focuses on creating, maintaining, and manipulating wastewater, stormwater, and potable water GIS data using advanced techniques and Esri ArcGIS Pro in an enterprise environment.

You will fulfill user requests, support field crews, configure and support Esri applications, manage integrations, and troubleshoot to keep GIS systems running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 6 years related experience/education in Geography, Geospatial Science, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Computer Science, Technology.
• Experience with Esri ArcGIS Pro and enterprise GIS environments is desirable.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new technologies for decision making.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains GIS data and applications for wastewater, stormwater, and potable water systems.
• Develops data models and automates data capture and maintenance tasks.
• Supports field crews and teaches GIS tools to staff.
• Configures Esri applications and troubleshoots GIS infrastructure.
• Creates maps and reports to support staff and leadership decisions.
