Job summary

The City of Loveland's Water and Power Department is seeking a GIS Specialist to maintain and support the department's GIS systems. You will manage data updates, quality assurance, and analysis for electric, water, wastewater, broadband, and other GIS features.

Responsibilities include data integrity, collaboration with engineers and field crews, and creating geoprocessing models. Remote work up to two days per week may be possible.

Qualifications

• Requires 3 years of experience with ESRI's product line.
• Experience reading construction plans is preferred.
• Driver's license is required.
• Knowledge of GIS data editing in ArcGIS.

Responsibilities

• Creates or updates GIS features based on drawings and field data.
• Collaborates with design staff, engineering and field crews for data accuracy.
• Maintains connectivity and integrity of utility networks.
• Interprets engineering models to identify trouble areas in GIS.
• Coordinates data collection projects.
