Job summary

TxDOT Fort Worth District seeks a GIS Analyst II or III to develop and analyze GIS data, produce maps and graphics, and report findings. The role provides technical support for transportation projects and involves working with governmental agencies.

Positions require experience with ESRI software and GIS data handling; opportunities exist at both II and III levels based on qualifications; onsite in Fort Worth, TX with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems or related field.
• GIS Analyst II: 1 year using ESRI products in cartographic production, GIS or GPS analysis.
• GIS Analyst III: 2 years using ESRI products in cartographic production, GIS or GPS analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced GIS data development, integration and analysis; produce maps and graphics; extract, analyze and report data.
• Provide technical assistance and support for transportation activities or projects.
• Utilize ArcGIS Online to create and maintain feature services and web mapping applications.
