Qualifications

• Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree with coursework in civil engineering, surveying, drafting, geography, computer science or systems analysis.
• One year of responsible experience in surveying, drafting, computer systems support, computer programming, systems analysis and/or data management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain spatial databases.
• Develop digital maps using survey records, parcel maps, deeds and other data sources.
• Integrate electronic map data from outside sources with in-house data.
• Identify and tag graphic components of GIS with attributes.
• Maintain metadata and genealogy on graphic data used in GIS.
