Job summary

ICF seeks a GIS Analyst/Developer to join our expanding GIS team in a consulting environment. You will perform complex GIS analyses, build client-focused outputs, maps, and dashboards, and deploy web-based geospatial applications.

You’ll work with data across infrastructure, transportation, climate resilience, and energy projects, translating client needs into data requirements. Strong Python scripting and Esri tools experience are preferred, with the ability to collaborate with clients and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Geography, Urban Planning, Engineering, or related field.
2+ years of experience performing complex GIS analysis.
2+ years of experience with Esri’s desktop and web GIS tools.
Familiarity with one scripting language, ideally Python.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
Must reside in the U.S. and be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must have lived in the U.S. for three of the last five years.

Responsibilities

Perform complex GIS analyses to develop client-focused outputs, maps, and dashboards.
Evaluate and integrate spatial data from various sources using ETL processes.
Design, build, deploy, and maintain web-based geospatial applications.
Apply cross-domain planning and land use concepts to support clients.
Work with clients and SMEs to translate business needs into data requirements.
Lead development of data collection, management, processing, and dissemination procedures.
