The GIS and Database Manager will manage real property and conservation data across Tennessee. The successful candidate will:
All duties will be performed at the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency headquarters in Nashville, TN. This is an on-site position.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and two years of experience in:
Substitutions: Experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis up to four years in areas such as geospatial measurement work or information systems work. Graduate coursework in geography may substitute for experience up to one year. Alternatively, attainment of GIS Professional Certification qualifies.
Necessary Special Qualifications: None
Examination Method: Education and Experience (100%) for Preferred Service positions.
Summary: Responsible for GIS work involving analysis and evaluation of equipment and software, performing related tasks as required.
Distinguishing Features: This is a supervisory or advanced analyst role within the GIS series, involving management or complex analysis work, differing from GIS Manager who supervises a unit.
