Job summary

Keystone Central School District is seeking an Athletics/Activities/Coaching leader at Central Mountain High School to cultivate student-athlete growth and a positive program culture. You will teach fundamentals, develop team strategies, and model integrity, teamwork, and leadership within the school and community.

The role emphasizes supervising staff, coordinating practices, and upholding KCSD/PIAA/PHAC rules while promoting sportsmanship and academic achievement.

Qualifications

• Experience as a head coach is preferred.
• Coaching experience in the assigned sport is desired.
• Knowledge of rules and fundamentals of the sport and regulations (KCSD/PIAA/PHAC).
• Must obtain required background checks and trainings (Act 34/151, FBI, etc.).
• New coaches may have up to 2 years to obtain coaching certifications.

Responsibilities

• Instruct student athletes in fundamental skills, strategies and training.
• Provide guidance fostering moral values, academic achievement and teamwork.
• Supervise athletes, assistant and volunteer coaches; maintain discipline.
• Engage community and maintain positive public relations for the program.
• Organize meetings, assist in selecting coaches, and plan practice sessions.
