Qualifications

• MSHSAA/NFHS Coaching Principles Course must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate wrestling with a full team in compliance with MSHSAA standards.
• Assist in implementing athletic standards per MSHSAA Handbook and attend required sessions.
• Coordinate the program and supervise students at practices and contests.
• Assist with transportation, facilities, officials and game management.
• Schedule practice sessions to maximize student-athlete potential.
• Emphasize safety and proper training and injury management procedures.
• Model high standards of sportsmanship during practices and contests.
• Assist in returning school equipment per KCMSD Handbook.
• Pursue professional growth through clinics and publications.
• Complete coaching courses and required professional development hours.
