Job summary

Oldham County Schools seeks an Assistant Coach to support head coaches in various middle and high school athletic programs. This position entails assisting in planning and supervising practices, promoting sports, and aiding in athlete development.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, demonstrated sports knowledge, and solid interpersonal skills. Additional qualifications include CPR certification and experience in promoting sportsmanship.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age is required for the position.
• Successful completion of first aid course and CPR certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting rules, regulations, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach and/or other assistant coaches on one or more sports.
• Promote sports in the school and community.
• Assist the head coach in planning the athletic program.

Education

High School diploma or G.E.D. certificate

64 semester hours of college credit or approved training
