Job summary

Chesterfield County Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Coach for Girls' High School Lacrosse on-site. The position entails leadership, supervision, and coaching across varsity and junior varsity levels, plus organizational duties such as equipment management and filing VHSL forms.

The role requires effective communication, professionalism, and the ability to work with students, staff, parents, and the community. A fingerprint-based background check and health screenings are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in all phases of lacrosse;
• Supervise varsity and junior varsity teams as needed;
• Maintain compliance with VHSL rules and district policies;
• Manage equipment inventory and fee collection;
• Communicate with team, staff, parents, administration and media;
• Organize records including eligibility forms and statistics;
• Assist athletic director in evaluating program needs;
• Support health and safety practices within the athletic program.
