Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Demonstrates professionalism and contributes to a positive environment.
• Working knowledge about athletic program regulations. Skillfully manages individual, group, and organizational interactions.
• Effectively uses verbal, nonverbal, writing, and listening skills. Completes paperwork timely and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in all phases of the game, sport, or activity; supervise teams at varsity and junior varsity levels.
• Works with student athletes to improve personal and teamwork skills; offers guidance and encouragement.
• Maintain compliance with VHSL rules, regulations, and district policies; promote the district image; collaborate with athletic director.
• Handle financial items for the athletic program, including equipment inventory and fee collection; participate in fundraisers.
• Organize and maintain records, including VHSL forms, insurance information and team statistics.
