Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

• Working knowledge about athletic program regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in all phases of the game, sport, or activity.
• Work with student athletes to improve personal and teamwork skills.
• Provide guidance to help students profit from participation.
• Maintain compliance with VHSL rules and district policies.
• Promote a favorable image of the school district and foster partnerships.
• Collaborate with the athletic director to evaluate program needs.
• Ensure proper use and care of school property.
• Communicate effectively with team, staff, parents, administration, and media.
• Handle financial items for the athletic program and fees collection.
• Participate in athletic department fund-raisers.
• Complete all VHSL forms and required paperwork.
• Organize and maintain records including physical forms and statistics.
• Monitor health and safety practices within programs.
