Wooster Middle School is seeking a passionate individual to join our coaching staff as a Girls Assistant Basketball Coach for the upcoming season. The role collaborates closely with the head coach to develop players, run practices, and promote teamwork and sportsmanship.

The assistant coach will guide players, reinforce fundamentals, and support academic balance while contributing to a positive, inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience at middle/high school level preferred.
• Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals, strategies, and rules.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and promote teamwork and sportsmanship.
• Commitment to a positive and inclusive team culture.
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Background check may be required prior to employment.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends during the basketball season.
