Meta seeks an experienced Gigawatt Site Project Director to own delivery outcomes and capital risk for a 1GW+ data center campus. You will lead DEC matrix teams across Delivery, Quality, Project Controls, and Design to deliver a complex mega-project on a compressed schedule.

The role requires senior leadership, deep megaproject experience, and proven success with multi-prime delivery, safety culture, and strong contractor governance; travel and on-site presence are expected.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent technical degree.
20+ years megaproject experience with accountability on programs of comparable scale.
Demonstrated ownership of capital risk on megaprojects, not just schedule.
Experience with multi-prime delivery structures, integrator models, and third-party financing.
Experience with ground-up campus-scale construction on fast-track schedules.
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems design and deployment.
Experience with US/EMEA construction contracts, change orders, and commercial terms.
Experience with codes, permitting authorities, and health and safety requirements.
Experience managing contractor, subcontractor, and vendor relationships; proficiency with standard industry practices.
Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Own delivery outcomes and capital risk for a single gigawatt campus from capex commitment through turnover.
Make irreversible structural, commercial, and sequencing decisions in early project stages.
Lead matrix teams — Delivery, Quality, Project Controls, and Design — to one accountable outcome.
Own the multi-prime execution structure, integrator relationships, and commercial interfaces across primes.
Direct vendor governance and supervision decisions with Operations leadership.
Negotiate construction change orders directly with contractors and vendors at campus scale.
Escalate and resolve complex MEP, civil, cost, schedule, and contract issues.
Identify and mitigate risk ahead of critical path, focusing on early civil window.
Interface across precon, planning, contracting, legal, engineering, and facility operations leadership.
