Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Midland, TX is hiring a Sales Outfitter. You will greet customers, demonstrate products, answer questions, restock merchandise, and maintain a clean store environment while following company policies.

You will identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services to enhance the shopping experience. Experience in retail, strong communication, and cash-handling abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to handle cash and make change accurately.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to operate a computerized POS register system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a prompt, friendly manner.
• Demonstrate products and provide information and directions.
• Replenish shelves and maintain pricing/signage as per guidelines.
• Remain product expert through knowledge training.
• Support seasonal floor merchandise moves and restock as needed.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked work area and follow company procedures.
• Identify customer needs and recommend products, including programs like CLUB Membership and In-Store Pick-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
