Responsibilities

• Provides challenge and social/emotional support for academically advanced and intellectually gifted students through direct services.
• Assists classroom teachers in differentiation for students who need extension in academic areas for growth.
• Analyses multiple data points to identify students for extension and service.
• Communicates regularly with parents by SeeSaw, Schoology, newsletters, phone, email, conferences, etc.
• Consults with AL staff and building administrators to review program, curriculum and student concerns.
• Provides professional learning experiences to district staff concerning classroom differentiation and higher order thinking.
