Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in education.
• Valid Alaska teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement.
• Six semester education credits in extended learning (gifted/talented).

Responsibilities

• Identify gifted students and develop learning plans.
• Collaborate with regular classroom teachers to differentiate curricula.
• Coordinate spelling bee and geography bee.
• Review targeted academic needs and goals with staff and families.
• Support districtwide extended learning for high-achieving students.
