Job summary

Edgecomb Eddy School is seeking a Gifted and Talented Teacher for PK-6 to provide services within a regular education classroom. The role involves collaboration with administrators and teachers to differentiate curriculum, support identification, and deliver program services in a half-day, weekly schedule.

The successful candidate should be passionate about children, a team player, and committed to professional development, with MDOE Gifted & Talented certification recognized for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with administrators and classroom teachers to provide inclusive Gifted and Talented services in a regular education classroom through differentiated curriculum, team teaching, and coaching.
• Deliver differentiated curriculum via team teaching and coaching to Gifted & Talented students.

Job description

Gifted and Talented Teacher PK-6 at Edgecomb Eddy School

(half day/once a week)

The successful candidate will collaborate with administrators and classroom teachers to provide inclusive, multi-tiered Gifted and Talented services in a regular education classroom through differentiated curriculum, team teaching, and coaching.

A successful candidate will be:

• Passionate about children and learning
• A team player who is able to communicate effectively with teachers in a coaching/ team teaching model
• Familiar with administering assessments, identification of students, and program delivery
• Committed to their own professional development
• Certified through MDOE: 690 certification/endorsement Gifted & Talented Certification

The position starts for the 26/27 school year

The pay range for this position is based on the Edgecomb Eddy School Teachers bargaining agreement.

Per diem rate of $158.12 to $250.66

This position is not benefits eligible
