Job summary

RSU No. 38 seeks an Educational Technician III for Gifted and Talented Services to support elementary and middle level students. This 1-year, part-time role provides differentiated in-class instruction and pull-out services under supervision of a certified teacher or administrator.

The candidate will collaborate with the GT Team and classroom teachers to meet diverse instructional needs and promote student growth. Salary ranges align with degree and experience.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of pedagogy and best practices as it relates to GT services.
• Successful experience working with a range of school-age children.
• Ability to collaborate with a “lead” teacher and classroom teachers.

Job Goal:

To provide multi-tiered Gifted and Talented services under the supervision and guidance of a certified teacher and/or administrator to meet the instructional needs of identified students. The primary goal is for students to receive services ranging from differentiated instruction in the classroom to pull-out instruction based on individual student needs. The successful candidate will collaborate with the GT Team and classroom teachers to benefit students. This is a part-time position with hours Monday through Thursday. Responsibilities will include services at the elementary and middle school levels.

• Successful experience working with a range of school-age children.

• Ed Tech III certification.

Salary Range:

$22.07-$26.57/hr - based on degree level and years of teaching experience
