Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Gift Shop Coordinator to oversee daily gift shop operations, including opening/closing, training volunteers, and cash handling.

Candidates should have retail experience and knowledge of pricing for vintage merchandise. Responsibilities include ordering and stocking merchandise, generating daily sales reports, providing excellent customer service, and delivering monthly reports to accounting.

Qualifications

• Retail and supervisory experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience required.
• College coursework a plus.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the gift shop daily.
• Train and direct volunteers and staff on procedures.
• Order items such as candy, magazines and sundries as defined.
• Stock merchandise on the sales floor.
• Complete daily cash deposits and run sales reports.
• Provide excellent customer service and upsell products.
