Qualifications

• Two (2) years gift shop or other retail experience preferred.
• One (1) year of supervisory experience in a gift shop or other retail environment preferred.
• Proficient in inventory tracking and retail systems.
• Ability to understand basic accounting function.
• Proficient math skills.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to handle Guest opportunities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Gift Shop Clerk/Cashiers and Leads.
• Ensure merchandise is clean, displayed, and in stock.
• Arrange store displays to stimulate sales and uphold standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean store environment.
• Respond to Guest questions and opportunities.
• Stock merchandise and assist Guests as needed.
• Help prevent theft and spoilage of store merchandise.
• Coach team members to achieve goals and maintain standards.
• Conduct daily huddles and communicate expectations.
• Record sales and inventory data using POS and inventory systems.
• Assist with recruiting, selection, and training of team members.
• Participate in purchasing, merchandising, and inventory management.
• Support marketing and business plans for Gift Shop operations.
