The Lead Gift Shop Team Member is responsible and accountable for: the successful operation of the Gift Shop; ensuring the guests of the gift shop have an enjoyable experience during their visit to Live! Casino & Hotel; and demonstrating the Live! Casino & Hotel service standards of Clean, Safe, Fast, Friendly and Fun.
Responsibilities
Where You'll Make an Impact:
- Assist with the developing and training Team Members to ensure excellent Customer Service and Product Knowledge
- Continually giving feedback on Team Members on their individual development and completing their review process in a timely manner
- Completing schedules two weeks prior and ensure the department stays within their budget
- Setting the example for Team Members
- Understanding must always be ready to step up in the absence of Team Member
- Manages and maintains for the daily operations of the gift shop
- Evaluating and purchasing gift shop merchandise and maintaining inventory
- Maintain inventory to ensure minimum shrinkage
- Works with sales, marketing and corporate on promotional needs
- Review gift shop activities with the Retail Manager as necessary
- Meet with department directors and managers as necessary
- Participate in buying processes and events as deemed appropriate by manager
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results
- Ability to accept constructive criticism and correct faults and issues as directed and or warranted. Knowledge of company policy procedures.
- Ability to read basic instructions and perform basic mathematical functions. Ability to also solve complex problems.
Knowledge of good customer service techniques
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Retail management experience preferred
- Retail customer service training preferred
- You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning.
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle and feel; use hands and arms to reach, legs and feet to balance, stoop, kneel or crouch
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs and infrequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs
- Ability to regularly utilize sufficient vision or other powers of observation to review documents and computer screens and organize documents and materials.
