The Food and Beverage Pool Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day food and beverage operations at the casino's pool and cabana areas. This includes supervising service staff, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and optimizing revenue through efficient service and upselling strategies. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the luxurious ambiance of the pool environment and aligning with the Live! Casino’s high standards of hospitality.
Responsibilities
Where You'll Make an Impact:
- Supervise daily poolside F&B operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality service.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of servers, bartenders, and support staff; assist with training and scheduling.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and proactively resolve service issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with culinary and beverage teams to ensure timely and accurate food/drink delivery.
- Enforce compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate daily objectives, specials, VIP arrivals, and safety updates.
- Oversee poolside inventory, requisition supplies, and minimize waste.
- Support cabana service, including hosting VIP guests and ensuring personalized, attentive service.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all service areas, including bars, lounges, and seating.
- Ensure POS systems are accurately used; monitor cash handling and reconcile sales reports.
- Coordinate with security and pool staff for crowd management and guest safety.
- Foster a fun, upscale atmosphere that reflects the Live! brand identity.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- 2+ years in a supervisory role in food & beverage, preferably in luxury resorts or high-volume pool venues.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with a hands-on, guest-first approach.
- Knowledge of beverage service, cocktails, wine, and poolside menus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
- Proficient in POS systems and basic Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of local health and safety codes.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain LACT Alcohol Certification (Responsible Vendor) and a Bossier City ABO Card.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal periods.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and be exposed to outdoor conditions for extended periods.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Standing/walking for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions (sun, wind, heat).
