Job summary

The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado welcomes a full-time Gift Shop Manager to lead our Welcome Center retail team. You will supervise staff, ensure exceptional guest service, manage inventory, and coordinate gift shop operations, including events and donor engagement.

This exempt, year-round role requires a hands-on leader capable of multi-tasking, weekend shifts, and maintaining accuracy with pricing and stock.

Qualifications

• Experience in gift shop or retail management preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking.
• Ability to lead a team and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily gift shop operations and staff supervision.
• Manage inventory, pricing, and stock levels.
• Process cashier duties and transactions.
• Coordinate with Retail Director and support donors.
• Ensure cleanliness and excellent guest service.
