Barefoot Zoological Gardens LLC’s Alligator Adventure is seeking a Retail Manager to oversee the gift shop, supervise staff, maintain displays, and ensure a high-quality guest experience in a busy attraction.

Night, weekend, and holiday availability is required. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and customer-focused, with strong leadership and teamwork skills to support operations across the venue.

Qualifications

• Retail or management experience preferred but not required.
• Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Flexible availability.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to lead and work well with a team.
• Willing to help in other areas as situations arise.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily gift shop operations
• Provide excellent customer service
• Lead, train, and assist retail employees
• Assist with employee scheduling
• Oversee POS and cash-handling operations
• Maintain merchandise displays and overall store appearance
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels
• Receive, organize, and stock merchandise
• Assist with ordering and selecting retail merchandise
• Handle customer questions and concerns professionally
• Help identify opportunities to increase retail sales
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming gift shop
• Assist with opening and closing responsibilities
