Job summary

Sazerac Company is seeking a Gift Shop Attendant for a part-time role in New Orleans. You will create a welcoming shopping experience, handle transactions, answer questions, and keep the shop well-stocked and visually appealing.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional customer service and assist visitors with questions, product information, and purchases.
• Process retail transactions accurately and efficiently while following established cash-handling and sales procedures.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and attractive sales floor by restocking merchandise and keeping displays presentable.
• Monitor inventory and merchandise levels and communicate restocking needs to the appropriate team members.
• Support VIP guest visits and other special visitor needs as requested.

Job Description/Responsibilities

The Gift ShopAttendant creates awelcoming and enjoyableshopping experience forvisitors and internalcustomers. This rolehandles retail transactions, answers questions, andkeeps the giftshop well-stocked, organized, and visuallyappealing. The idealcandidate is friendly, professional, attentiveto detail, andcomfortable working ina fast-pacedvisitor environment.

Schedule: Part-time position working 3-4 8 hour days a week.

What You’ll Do

Qualifications/Requirements

Required

• High school diplomaor GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service.

Preferred

• Experience supporting VIPguest visits orspecial guest experiences.
• Experience in tourism, hospitality, or avisitor-focused environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to workon your feetfor extended periodsand move throughoutthe gift shopas needed.
• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, climbstairs or ladders, and sit asrequired.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
