Job summary
The Historic Davenport Hotel, Autograph Collection is seeking a friendly Gift Shop Attendant in Spokane to deliver exceptional guest service and assist guests in finding memorable mementos of their stay.
Responsibilities include greeting guests, maintaining an appealing shop, processing sales, and promoting promotions. Weekend/holiday availability and basic math for cash handling are required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a professional appearance.
- Ability to multitask and handle cash transactions.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking.
- Knowledge of product presentation and display.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Maintain a visually appealing, well-stocked gift shop.
- Help guests locate and select products.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide product recommendations and information to guests.
- Monitor inventory and replenish stock as needed.
- Keep the shop clean and organized.
- Promote special offers and promotions to boost sales.
