The Gift Care Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing IMB’s mission by ensuring every gift is processed with the highest levels of accuracy, integrity, and care. This position blends administrative expertise with relational excellence, serving as the key point of contact for donors while supporting internal processes that enable efficient, mission‑aligned gift management.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for donor inquiries, providing prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable assistance.
- Oversee gift import and allocation within the Virtuous CRM, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established policies.
- Prepare acknowledgment letters, tax receipts, and supporting materials with a high level of quality and professionalism.
- Monitor donor inboxes and maintain communications that reflect IMB’s values and commitment to excellence.
- Proactively engage donors through gratitude calls and meaningful follow‑up, reinforcing their impact and encouraging continued partnership.
- Support stewardship initiatives and collaborate with internal teams to enhance the donor experience.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date donor records within the CRM system.
- Generate reports and support data analysis efforts to inform strategic stewardship decisions.
- Ensure data integrity and proper documentation throughout the gift lifecycle.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Finance, the Church Success Center, and other teams to ensure seamless coordination of gift processing.
- Contribute to a collaborative and high‑performing culture within Ministry Advancement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in donor relations, customer service, administrative support, or a related field.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Virtuous or similar) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including experience with reporting and data interpretation.
