Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking an Registered Nurse to manage in-basket messaging and provide nursing care in a busy GI Surgery clinic. You will lead a team of CMAs, RNs, Surgeons and other professionals to deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process and promote timely, safe outcomes.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team and ensuring privacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
• RN licensure required by SC Board of Nursing or compact state.
• BSN within four years of hire or reclassification for RNs hired after 2013.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and lead team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure patient privacy, safety, and family-centered care across age groups.
• Coordinate care and health teaching to promote outcomes.
