MUSC Health is seeking a registered nurse to support the GI Surgery clinic, focusing on timely, patient-centered nursing care. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe outcomes for pre-op and post-op GI patients.

The role emphasizes collaboration with CMAs, RNs, surgeons, residents, and advance practice providers, while maintaining privacy and a healing environment across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred; RN license in SC or a compact state.
• Minimum of one year of RN experience required.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Direct and lead other team members and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide age-appropriate care.
• Maintain patient privacy and a safe, healing environment while promoting patient-centered care.
