Barnes-Jewish Hospital’s 6900 GI/GU Surgery Unit seeks a passionate Nurse Manager to lead a 38-bed surgical team delivering complex GI/GU care. You will partner with GI/GU surgeons in a Magnet-designated environment, guiding clinical practice and staff development while advancing ERAS protocols.

This full-time, days, 40-hour/week role emphasizes operational leadership, budget management, and exceptional patient outcomes within a high-acuity surgical program.

Qualifikationen

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• 2-5 years nursing supervisory experience preferred.
• 5-10 years RN experience preferred.
• RN license is required.

• Oversees daily operations of the unit on a 24-hour basis.
• Manages staffing, budgeting, and patient safety initiatives.
• Ensures adherence to policies and regulatory standards.
• Develops staff through performance reviews and education.
• Drives patient satisfaction and quality improvement initiatives.
• Leads implementation of ERAS practices and clinical protocols.
