Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Huntington Beach Hospital in Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a GI Technician to assist during invasive GI procedures and support the surgical team. You will hand sterile instruments and scopes to the physician and maintain a safe, efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience required.
• Graduate of a training program or on-the-job training with a minimum of 2 years GI setting experience preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Scrub assistant to the physician during GI procedures, passing instruments promptly.
• Hand sterilized instruments, scopes and supplies to the physician during procedures.
• Assist team in maintaining safe, high-quality patient care and adherence to hospital policies.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience

GI setting experience (2+ years)

Current BLS (AHA) certificate
