USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center, Greater Heights is seeking a motivated GI Tech to join our fast-paced ASC team. The role involves scrubbing for surgical procedures under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and maintaining sterile technique.

Weekdays only—no holidays, weekends, or call—with some later evenings. Candidates should be prepared to support quality improvement activities and collaborate with physicians, staff, and patients to ensure high-quality care in an ambulatory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Solid aseptic technique implementation.
• Able to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
• Excellent team player with staff, patient, and physician communication.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for surgical procedures as part of the surgical team.
• Prepare and maintain supplies, instruments, and equipment.
• Support and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, assist in daily surgical operations.
