Job summary

Advocate Health in Milwaukee is seeking a Registered Nurse for the GI/Pulmonary Lab. You will care for adult patients in outpatient and inpatient settings, supporting endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCP, and related imaging.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and excellent patient experiences. The position requires an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in Wisconsin, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association).
• 2 years of Med/Surg, ICU, ED or 1 year perioperative nursing experience (Extern time excluded).

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and compassionate communication to ensure patient safety and optimal experience across the continuum.
