Qualifications

• Must have or be eligible for a DEA license.
• Approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in NC.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider (AHA) required with expiration >90 days.
• Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS preferred.
• Critical thinking, interpersonal skills, and proactive decision making.

Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous outpatient management for post-operative patients and surveillance populations.
• Perform histories, exams, ongoing assessments and implement treatment plans.
• Deliver patient education and longitudinal support.
• Collaborate with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams to optimize perioperative care.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives, research, and professional development.
• Meet performance expectations of ≥35 weekly patient contact hours.
