Job summary

Atrium Health Specialty Network, Inc. in Charlotte, NC seeks an Advanced Practice Provider for full-time, ambulatory perioperative care with ~35 hours of direct patient care per week and no routine weekend calls.

The role emphasizes autonomous post-operative management and collaboration with surgical teams. The ideal candidate will have a DEA license, be eligible as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in NC, and hold BLS; ACLS/PALS/ATLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have or be eligible for a DEA license.
• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensed to practice in NC.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required; ACLS/PALS/ATLS preferred.
• DEA license and clinical certification must be in good standing.
• 1 year experience in surgery or perioperative care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous outpatient management for postoperative patients and surveillance populations.
• Perform histories, exams, and develop treatment plans.
• Deliver patient education and longitudinal support.
• Collaborate with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams to optimize perioperative care.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and research opportunities.
