Advocate Health's Atrium Health Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a full-time Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join a busy, collaborative team. The role offers daytime 4x10-hour shifts, no OR responsibilities, and travel to other sites may be required.

Qualified candidates must graduate from an accredited NP or PA program, hold NC licensure with prescriptive privileges and DEA, and have BLS/ACLS certification; NCCPA or Acute Care NP

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited NP or PA program and maintain a current license to practice as an NP or PA in North Carolina
• Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required
• NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants
• Acute Care NP Certification for Nurse Practitioners
• BLS/ACLS Certification required

Responsabilités

• Coordinate, provide, and assist in comprehensive quality patient care for Cardiothoracic patients in collaboration with supervising physician
• Provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, referral, and consultation
• Maintain clinical and professional competency appropriate to patient age and needs
• Work independently with strong decision-making and communicate effectively with MDs, APPs, and staff
• Work in inpatient setting on a daylight rotating four, 10-hour shift with weekend coverage and occasional travel
