Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC invites experienced Advanced Practice Providers to join the Digestive Health & Surgery division. The role focuses on ambulatory specialty care with perioperative support, offering ~35 hours/week of direct patient care and no weekend calls.

The candidate will manage post-operative patients, coordinate transitions, and contribute to quality improvement, research, and program development within a leading community-focused academic health system.

Qualificações

• Graduate-level nursing or physician assistant education required or eligible for licensure in NC.
• Nurse Practitioners must be eligible for DEA license and prescriptive authority.
• PA must be graduate of an accredited PA program and NC licensure eligible.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required; ACLS, PALS, ATLS preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide autonomous outpatient management for post-operative patients and surveillance populations.
• Perform histories, exams, ongoing assessments and implement treatment plans.
• Deliver patient education and longitudinal support.
• Collaborate with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams to optimize perioperative care.
• Coordinate transitions across care settings and advocate for patients.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research opportunities.
• Meet performance expectations of ≥35 weekly patient contact hours and maintain documentation standards.
