Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved medical assistant training program.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification (RMA/CMA/CCMA/NCMA) required.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work with medical software.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple changing priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams by recording vital signs and chief complaints.
• Assist providers with exams and minor in-office procedures.
• Coordinate care including referrals, authorizations, and scheduling.
• Document tests, labs, and imaging for billing and records.
• Maintain clean, safe exam rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Order supplies and manage medication recalls as directed.
• Communicate with patients and families to support care.
